Welcome to Ventuurs. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at ventuurs.com and the Ventuurs iOS application (together, the "Service"). By using Ventuurs, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

Ventuurs is operated from Austin, Texas. You can reach us at contact@ventuurs.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ventuurs. If you're under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know right away.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the photos, reviews, lists, and other content you post to Ventuurs. By posting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute it through the Service. This license ends when you delete your content, except for copies already shared with other users.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post harassing, hateful, threatening, illegal, or sexually explicit content.
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with a place or business.
• Spam, scrape, or use automated tools to access the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Interfere with the Service or any other user's experience.
• Use Ventuurs for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The Ventuurs name, logo, app design, and all original content provided by us are owned by Ventuurs and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use them without our written permission.

7. Third-party content

Ventuurs may surface information about places, businesses, and events from third-party sources or other users. We don't guarantee the accuracy of that information. Always use your best judgment and check with the venue before relying on hours, availability, or pricing.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ventuurs and its officers, employees, and affiliates won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater. If you've used Ventuurs for free, that cap is one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Ventuurs harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You can stop using Ventuurs at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms us or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (like ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of Ventuurs after changes means you accept the new Terms.

14. Severability

If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect.
